Care Instructions

The materials used in your jewellery have been carefully selected, and its creation has been carried out with the utmost precision to provide you with a piece of the highest quality. Incador’s creations are delicate and unique jewellery pieces that require particular care to ensure their preservation.

To maintain the beauty and brilliance of your jewellery, we recommend the following care instructions and precautions.

Regular exposure to impact from daily wear may result in the development of a patina on your jewellery. To minimise this, it is advisable to remove the piece when engaging in household tasks, doing sport, or when swimming at the beach or pool. The sand grains can abrade the surface of the jewellery, particularly softer metals like higher karat gold. Chlorinated water may oxidise the metals alloyed with gold which may lead to discolouration and tarnishing. To avoid damage from scratching or knocking, refrain from wearing multiple pieces together. When not worn, store your jewellery individually in its original box to prevent friction and scratches. We also recommend avoiding storage in humid environments, such as bathrooms, as some metals may degrade in high humidity. Keep your jewellery away from intense sources of heat and extreme temperature changes.

If you have any questions about your Incador jewellery, we recommend that you stop wearing it and have it assessed by one of our specialists. We would be delighted to assist you and examine your piece at Incador for further evaluation.
